Last updated: May 23, 2025

This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use The Asteria Project website. It also explains your privacy rights and includes details specific to any content submitted to the project.

By using this site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Submitted Content

By submitting creative work to The Asteria Project — including but not limited to stories, poems, artwork, or written ideas ("Submissions") — you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, publish, and share your Submission on our website, social media, and promotional materials. We will always credit you as the original creator.

You retain full ownership of your creative work.

We may make small edits to Submissions (e.g., for clarity or formatting) before publication. We also reserve the right not to publish a Submission. You must only submit content you created or have the legal right to share. Any content that includes copyrighted material without permission, or that infringes on others' rights, will not be accepted.

If at any point you wish to withdraw your Submission, please contact us — we’ll make reasonable efforts to remove it from future use.

Submissions by children under 13

If you are under the age of 13, you must have a parent or legal guardian’s permission before submitting any content to The Asteria Project. By submitting a story, artwork, or other material, you confirm that you have received this permission.

If we become aware that a Submission has been made by a child under 13 without parental consent, we will remove the content as soon as possible.

Use of Personal Data

We may collect minimal personal information such as your name and email address through submission forms. This information is used solely to:

  • Credit you as the author of your Submission

  • Contact you if there are questions about your content

  • Remove or update a Submission if requested

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties.
